Construction Readiness Training

 

The CSBTTI offers multiple types of Construction Readiness Training.  We have our primary 40-Hour Credential Week that is offered monthly.  We have a new program that is being offered through the National Building Trades (tradesfutures.org), as well as Women Can Weld.  The following information details the upcoming schedule of opportunities.

80-HOUR (2-WEEKS) CREDENTIAL WEEK

To Register for one of the classes, you must first be pre-registered with the CSBTTI.

To Participate in a 40-Hour Credential Week You Must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to pass a drug test
  • Have a valid CT drivers license or a valid learner's permit
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED

Graduates will receive:

  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Introduction to the Trades
  • Construction Math
  • Job readiness skills
  • Receive support in applying to a unionized apprenticeship
  • Support services available.

Earn it, while you learn it! Combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction and be paid to participate!
